Not Made for TV Movie

It was about 2.10pm when I left the house. Instead of heading straight to Central Market, I diverted my driving to Taman Jaya LRT station. It might be more pleasant to park the car there and take the train. And hell yea, it was. Although the seats all fully occupied and I have to lay my back to the train's wall, it was really comfort that day, not too much people boarded the train. I can still felt the breezing air-cond. Huh, there was where all my sweat had gone, froze by the chills.

" woit kawan..next week sabtu 3hb kitorang perform kat CM..mari mari mari"

That was the agenda. Celebrating the World Press Freedom Day - "Hari Kebebasan Akhbar Sedonia". At first, I was really surprised to know that the gig will be held open air at CM...Wow..."Dah tak kecoh pasal kambing lagi dah ke?!" Don't be bothered. While on the train, I did recognise a bunch of kids with guitar cases next to me. Ahaa...Skyjuicecoffee. There were on the list for that day performances. They were so hurried when we reached Pasar Seni station. May be there were supposed to be on the stage by that time. And once again, hell yea I was right. The kids jumped right on stage, plugged on their guitars and screamed... "pop-punk".

Next was Lurks. Yea...the one who sent me the above message. It was the first time I saw them performed in fully plugged session. The last, it was the Accoustic Jam Session at the Actor's Studio Bangsar in 2003. And did missed all other performances these few years, kind of having something elses eventhough I did attend the gigs.

According to reports by the organiser and Joe Kidd http://ricecooker.kerbau.com/ , there were some Special Branch and DBKL officers monitoring the events. And they really didn't bother me at all. haha...what really bother me was the existence of "mat indon". Damnn...I really like I was lost. "Betoi ke aku kat CM ni?" I've never tought I'm gonna faced that kind of situation on the normal weekend. Usually that would happened during Hari Raya or Chinese New Year... giler ahh...bersidai. rambut mengerbang, seluar fit, kasut converse high-cut... It's not that I have an issue with those people, its just I didn't realise that Malaysia has a huge number of Indonesians nowdays. Once I have seen a statistic of foreign worker when I help a friend to translate a paperwork. More than 1 million Indonesian workers excluded the PR holders. Bloody hell... It shows that we are really depending on them in order to generate our country's growth. Wow....

hmmm....

Afterall, "panas weh". I left the gig very early, around 4.30pm, in the middle of Mushbuttons's performances. Straight back to Tmn Jaya station. Got in the car, back to Kelana Jaya. Dropped by the SS5 and had a bowl of Asam Laksa and Cendol Pulut at "gerai tepi jalan". Layan woo....

Peace.
